Job summary

Heinen’s, Inc. is seeking an IT Business Analyst to develop product expertise in enterprise systems, design permissions structures, and document improvements across the business. You will bridge business and technology by understanding processes and recommending optimizations.

The role requires collaboration with technical and non-technical users, managing change, and supporting new system implementations across the organization, including remote support for Chicago facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical or communication-oriented field.
• 3+ years of business analyst, project management, or process improvement experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Experience using Microsoft tools including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Teams.
• Demonstrated experience in ITSM or work management systems (JIRA, Service Now, Freshworks).
• Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate across the organization.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, optimizes, and documents existing workflow processes.
• Identifies and proposes potential system integrations and business process improvements.
• Writes business requirements and user stories; guides testing of changes to completion.
• Researches and recommends modern software solutions to replace legacy processes.
• Provides admin backup/support for departmental systems and workflows (HRIS, automation).
• Supports implementation of new systems across the organization with process development and documentation.
• Manages work for others in ticketing systems; coordinates with internal and external partners.
• Monitors usage of technical tools and platforms, coordinating with cross-team groups.
• Makes recommendations to solve business problems proactively.
