Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking an experienced IT Audit professional to support AML and regulatory remediation for a large global banking client. This temporary engagement requires independent auditing and testing across AML technology environments.

Preference for East Coast availability; remote with East Coast hours. Candidate will assess risk, develop testing strategies, and document findings for stakeholders across EMEA/APAC.

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT Audit experience in large global banking institutions.
• Strong experience supporting regulatory remediation, issue validation, and risk management.
• Deep AML/Financial Crimes tech expertise (Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions, KYC/CDD).
• Experience auditing SDLC, Change Management, and application controls.
• Experience evaluating data lineage, interfaces, data quality controls.
• Strong testing, risk assessment, and substantive testing capabilities.
• Ability to lead audit testing with minimal oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess remediation activities addressing technology, risk, and controls.
• Develop risk-based testing strategies to evaluate design and operating effectiveness.
• Perform IT audit testing across governance, SDLC, Change Management, operations, data controls.
• Evaluate AML/Financial Crimes tech environments and control frameworks.
• Review configurations, data flows, interfaces, and controls to validate remediation.
• Conduct targeted testing and deep-dive reviews of complex tech environments.
• Identify root causes, craft observations, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare clear audit documentation and communicate findings to stakeholders.
