Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to track and secure IT assets and maintain the college's hardware and software inventory. The role involves visiting campus locations, logging service requests, and ensuring software license compliance.

You will work with vendors and internal departments to coordinate asset maintenance and support across multiple sites, while ensuring security and data confidentiality. A Florida driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Track software or hardware assets and maintain inventory records.
• Maintain college-wide software database including vendor, purchasing and licensing information.
• Log and update service requests and maintain accurate customer information.
• Ensure end-user compliance with software licensing agreements.
• Transport materials and equipment as needed and provide tech support to departments and campuses.
• Coordinate with outside vendors for repair and maintenance of equipment.
