Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking an IT Asset & CMDB Coordinator for a remote, 1099 independent contractor engagement across the United States. The role focuses on maintaining CMDB records, reviewing inventory data, and generating basic asset-management reports in End User Computing and Datacenter environments.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow established processes in a remote setting, with experience in IT asset management and CMDB concepts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting IT asset management, inventory management, CMDB administration, desktop support, or IT operations.
• Familiarity with CMDB concepts and IT asset records.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and structured data.
• Ability to follow documented processes and work independently in a remote environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow or another CMDB/ITSM platform is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update IT asset and inventory records within the client’s CMDB.
• Review CMDB data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Support inventory record management for End User Computing and Datacenter assets.
• Assist with deployment and equipment retrieval reporting.
• Perform basic data analysis and reconciliation of asset records.
• Identify inaccurate or incomplete Configuration Item (CI) attributes and assist with remediation.
• Support asset-tag inventory maintenance for Datacenter equipment.
• Assist with Active Directory and CMDB record management for End User Computing assets.
• Help prepare and maintain asset-management instructions, reports, and communications.
• Work with technical teams to resolve inventory and data-quality issues.
