Job summary

ITCON Services is seeking an IT Asset and Configuration Specialist to manage asset lifecycle and configuration management processes within Federal Government IT environments. You will maintain accurate asset inventories, support CMDB integrity, and ensure compliance with federal asset management and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities include tracking hardware/software assets, supporting license renewal planning, and collaborating with Change and Problem Management on asset-related issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT asset or configuration management.
• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of asset lifecycle and configuration management processes.
• Public Trust clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories within ServiceNow CMDB.
• Track asset lifecycle activities including onboarding, transfers, and retirement.
• Support configuration management and application mapping.
• Reconcile asset data with external systems and generate reports.
• Support software license tracking and renewal planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal standards (e.g., reporting, accessibility, security).
• Collaborate with Change and Problem Management on asset-related issues.
