Qualifications

• Background Investigation: Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation required.
• Education & Experience: advanced degree with 10+ years, or Bachelor's with 12+ years, or 25+ years relevant experience for HS diploma option.
• Experience in deploying technology systems, construction management, remote sensor maintenance/repair, or civil/site design.
• Leadership: 3-5 years in a related team-lead role with 1-2 years in supervisory capacity.
• Technical Knowledge: knowledge of MD-102; understanding of NEPA and federal real estate clearance; DHS/DoD engineering experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate technology construction deployments as deployment manager and team lead for ~7 SMEs.
• Represent the agency in assigned projects and ensure successful IST program execution.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and contractor performance; escalate issues accordingly.
• Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities; present program management directions to CBP, DHS, and others.
• Collaborate with DHS, FAA, and other stakeholders across project lifecycles; coordinate outreach.
• Lead customer requirement analysis, staffing decisions, and project reporting; maintain a positive team environment.
