Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an Information Systems Security Officer to support DoC systems with RMF and DIACAP experience. You will lead the security lifecycle, develop assessment and authorization artifacts, and guide risk management to sustain ATO readiness.

The role requires hands-on RMF implementation, vulnerability management, and collaboration with ISSM, SCA, and AO. Hybrid/remote options apply with on-site work in DC facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years IA/ISSE/ISSO experience.
• Experience generating security documentation for ATO packages.
• Experience with DIACAP to RMF transition and DoC RMF.

Responsibilities

• Review systems for security weaknesses and document upgrades.
• Manage cybersecurity risk and maintain risk registry.
• Provide guidance for RMF, assessments, and ATO activities.
• Support vulnerability scanning and patch management.
• Draft A&A artifacts and security test & evaluation reports.
