Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with RMF/DIACAP expertise to support Department of Commerce systems and achieve Authorization to Operate (ATO).

The role covers full life-cycle A&A under RMF, security assessment, and oversight aligned with NIST 800.53. Located at the client site in Washington, DC, CGS offers opportunities for professional growth and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years in IA/ISSE/ISSO or similar for ATO packages.
• Experience with DIACAP to RMF transition.
• Proven ability to generate security documentation and ATO artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Review systems to identify security weaknesses and propose mitigations.
• Manage cybersecurity risk from an organizational perspective.
• Maintain risk registry and escalate to senior leadership.
• Provide security guidance using NIST RMF, DoC policies, and local standards.
• Support RMF activities and transition from DIACAP to RMF.
