Commence is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security assessments for federal systems. You will own the day-to-day authorization work, coordinate with agency security teams, and ensure compliance with NIST RMF, HIPAA, and CSA controls.

The role is remote with 15-25% travel, reporting to the CIO, and involves collaboration with Cybersecurity Engineers, Compliance Analysts, and Project Managers across the company.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of information assurance or cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years as an ISSO or A&A lead for federal systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

• Lead security assessment and authorization lifecycle per NIST RMF (SP 800-37).
• Maintain SSP, risk and privacy plans, and incident response documentation.
• Coordinate with agency ISSOs, Authorizing Officials, and prime contractors.
