Commence is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to lead security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for federal systems. You will partner with the CIO, Cybersecurity Engineers, Compliance Analysts, and project teams to integrate security milestones into programs and maintain SSPs, risk assessments, and incident response plans under RMF and NIST SP 800-37/53.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of information assurance or cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years as an ISSO or A&A lead for federal information systems.
• Familiarity with CMS ARS/IS2P2, VA 6500, DoD RMF and NIST SP 800-171/CMMC, IRS Pub 1075/4812, DHS 4300A.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the designated ISSO for assigned federal systems and liaison to agency ISSOs and Authorizing Officials.
• Lead risk, assessment, and authorization activities; escalate issues to the ISSM with recommended paths.
• Coordinate with CIO, Cybersecurity Engineers, Compliance Analysts, and project teams on security milestones.
• Run RMF lifecycle from categorization to ongoing authorization and reauthorization per NIST guidelines.
• Prepare SSP, risk assessment, Privacy Impact Assessment, contingency plan, incident response plan, and related artifacts.
