Job summary

Hidden Jobs seeks an experienced engineer to own the full stack from wearable firmware to cloud data processing. You will build and maintain field-ready data pipelines, ensure tight synchronization of vision and tactile streams, and collaborate across hardware, ML, and data teams in a remote-first role anchored in South Korea.

Expect hands-on firmware, cloud infrastructure, and Python API work with travel to field sites.

Qualifications

4+ years engineering experience across embedded and cloud infrastructure.
Strong firmware skills in C/C++ with RTOS and sensor integration.
Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, IoT Core.
Solid Python for APIs, streaming services, and cloud integration.
Knowledge of networking, security, monitoring and logging.
Fluent English; Korean or Mandarin is a plus.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain firmware for wearable sensing devices including microcontroller code.
Build device-to-cloud streaming pipelines keeping vision and tactile data synchronized.
Operate and extend AWS infrastructure stack for high-throughput data collection.
Develop Python APIs, ingestion services, and data pipelines for large volumes.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain device fleets at field sites; travel as needed.
Debug across firmware, networking and cloud; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
