Job summary

First Due is seeking an experienced Mobile Application Lead Developer to build native iOS apps for our emergency response platform. This remote role concentrates on offline-first design, robust API integration, and scalable architecture to support Fire & EMS agencies across the US.

You will mentor engineers, drive CI/CD and QA governance, and align the mobile roadmap with product needs while collaborating with teams in the US and India. Strong leadership and deep iOS expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of native iOS development experience in Swift.
• Exposure to Android and cross-platform delivery from shared code.
• Experience building mission-critical offline-first mobile apps.
• Ability to work with product managers to translate customer needs.
• Familiarity with Luciq/Firebase for troubleshooting and analytics.
• Strong MVVM/Clean Architecture knowledge and API integration.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop native iOS apps for a mobile platform.
• Implement offline-first architectures for low-connectivity environments.
• Collaborate with US and India teams across time zones.
• Establish mobile CI/CD pipelines, standards, reviews, and QA processes.
• Mentor mobile engineers and drive engineering best practices.
• Lead sprint planning, estimations, and contribute to the mobile roadmap.
