Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services is seeking an Investor Reporting Analyst to generate monthly accounting reports for assigned investors, analyze results, and ensure timely completion of reports in accordance with servicing agreements. The role collaborates with other mortgage servicing teams to meet investor requirements.

Responsibilities include forecasting principal and interest advances for securitization, creating loan-level remittance reports, remitting funds by wire transfer, and reconciling

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Schedule/schedule experience preferred.
• GNMA experience as well as Mortgage-Backed Securities experience preferred.
• One (1) to two (2) years of related experience, including investor accounting and reporting, required.

Responsibilities

• Forecasts principal and interest advance for securitization on a monthly basis; ensures reports are prepared within timeframes and terms of the servicing agreement.
• Creates and distributes monthly loan-level remittance reports to appropriate trustee, including the Loan Modification Report, REO Liquidation Gains and Losses, and Stop Advancing Report.
• Remits funds to investors to meet servicing agreements by preparing wire transfers.
• Reviews the pool to security reconciliation for discrepancies and makes necessary corrections.
• Analyzes remittance differences between investor accounting reports and remittance reports to maintain cash in custodial account.
• Validates data from other departments and works with those departments to resolve discrepancies (e.g., modification and liquidation reports).
