Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced Investment Accounting Manager to lead a critical accounting and operational improvement initiative in a remote consulting role. You will serve as the program lead, assess current-state processes, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive sustainable improvements in a complex financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA, CFA, or other professional certification preferred.
• Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in Accounting/Finance) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead a strategic investment accounting and operational improvement program with clearly defined objectives, milestones, and success metrics.
• Assess current-state processes, controls, workflows, and deliverables to identify operational gaps and remediation priorities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability across internal and external teams to improve execution quality, efficiency, and performance.
• Establish governance routines, status reporting, risk and issue management processes, and stakeholder communications.
• Design and implement process improvements, control enhancements, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Accounting, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Reporting teams.
• Track and report progress against milestones, proactively escalating risks and implementing mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and operational control frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scalability, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

CPA, CFA or related certification preferred

MBA or Master’s in Accounting/Finance is a plus
