Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced Investment Accounting Manager to lead a critical improvement initiative across accounting and operations. You will serve as the program lead, assessing current processes, identifying root causes, implementing actions, and driving measurable outcomes in a complex financial environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to stabilize and transform operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading remediation, transformation, or stabilization programs in investment accounting or financial operations.
• Experience managing vendor or managed-service teams and driving performance turnaround.
• Strong project/program management with governance and reporting discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead a strategic investment accounting and operational improvement program with clear objectives and milestones.
• Assess current-state processes, controls, workflows, and outputs to identify gaps and remediation priorities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability across internal and external teams to improve execution and performance.
• Establish governance routines, status reporting, risk/issue management, and stakeholder communications.
• Design and implement process improvements, control enhancements, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Accounting, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Reporting.
• Track progress against milestones and escalate risks with mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and control frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.
