Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced Investment Accounting Manager to lead a critical program driving improvements in accounting and operations. You will stabilize processes, define governance, and partner across Finance, Operations, Technology, and Reporting to deliver measurable outcomes.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of transforming complex financial operations within investment accounting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex remediation, transformation, or stabilization programs within investment accounting or financial operations.
• Demonstrated people leadership, including oversight of vendor or managed‑service teams and performance turnaround initiatives.
• Strong project and program management skills with experience establishing structured governance and reporting processes.
• Ability to identify root causes and implement practical process and control improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive‑level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a strategic investment accounting and operational improvement program with clearly defined objectives, milestones, and success metrics.
• Assess current-state processes, controls, workflows, and deliverables to identify operational gaps and remediation priorities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability across internal and external teams to improve execution quality, efficiency, and performance.
• Establish governance routines, status reporting, risk and issue management processes, and stakeholder communications.
• Design and implement process improvements, control enhancements, and documentation standards.
• Coordinate cross‑functional efforts across Accounting, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Reporting teams.
• Track and report progress against milestones, proactively escalating risks and implementing mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and operational control frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scalability, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
