Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a seasoned Microsoft Intune Systems Administrator to manage a multi‑platform endpoint fleet under a HUD contract. You will design zero‑touch enrollments, configure device policies, and package apps across Windows, macOS, and iOS.

This remote US role requires strong UEM, ABM, Autopilot, and security baseline experience. The position emphasizes hands-on engineering, policy automation, and proactive compliance monitoring, with a focus on Windows Autopilot, BitLocker, FileVault,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of system administration experience.
• 3–5+ years in Enterprise Endpoint Management, with ≥2 years on Intune/Endpoint Manager.
• Hands-on ABM integration with Intune; VPP app management, FileVault management; Bash on macOS; JAMF knowledge preferred.
• Experience with Windows Autopilot, BitLocker, PowerShell scripting, Win32 packaging, and AD/Entra ID integration.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, RBAC, and Endpoint Security baselines.
• Experience configuring iOS/iPadOS devices, Supervision, App Protection Policies (MAM without enrollment), and Company Portal deployment.

Responsibilities

• Configure zero-touch onboarding for Windows Autopilot, ADE via ABM, and iOS/iPadOS enrollment.
• Manage macOS configuration profiles, MDM payloads, and Bash scripts for custom settings.
• Define Windows baseline policies, administrative templates, PowerShell scripts, and remediation scripts.
• Package, test, and deploy Win32, LOB, Microsoft Store, macOS PKG/DMG, and iOS apps; maintain patching workflows.
• Implement Conditional Access, App Protection Policies, and Defender for Endpoint integration.
• Manage BitLocker and FileVault encryption standards across platforms.
• Configure identity integrations, SSO, and Platform SSO for macOS endpoints.
• Act as Tier 3 escalation for endpoint issues; monitor health, compliance, and vulnerabilities; maintain docs.
