Job summary

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine.
  • Board certification in pulmonary medicine or board eligibility.
  • Experience with mechanical ventilation and critical care settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory diseases, including mechanical ventilation.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory health and post-discharge care.
  • Participate in rounds and contribute to care discussions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
