Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Ohio-licensed Intervention Specialist to provide fully remote instruction for PreK–12 students with disabilities. The role emphasizes developing IEP-based instruction, progress monitoring, and collaboration with families and school teams.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license for the student population/grade served.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education or related field.
• Experience with PreK–12 students with disabilities.
• Experience with virtual/remote instruction preferred; willingness to use online platforms.
• Strong communication, organization, documentation, and technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote instruction and specialized support to PreK–12 students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement instruction aligned with IEP goals and accommodations.
• Develop, maintain, and update IEPs per Ohio requirements and regulations.
• Monitor progress toward IEP goals and adjust interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and MDT meetings.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians, teachers, service providers, and school staff.
• Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and IEP documentation.
• Create engaging, accessible virtual lessons addressing diverse needs.
• Communicate regularly with families and school teams.
