This flexible, part-time 1099 role emphasizes relationship-building, outreach to local schools, and careful documentation of progress to ensure positive cross-cultural experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation for local travel to schools and host family homes.
• Experience in education, community outreach, or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit prospective host families within the assigned area to support international student exchange programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with local schools to raise awareness of student exchange opportunities.
• Promote public awareness of exchange programs through community outreach and engagement activities.
• Guide prospective host families through the online application process on the organization's website.
• Conduct in-home interviews with potential host families and verify references to ensure suitability.
• Facilitate host family orientations prior to student arrival to set expectations and provide program guidance.
• Perform monthly check-ins with host families and students via phone or in-person visits.
• Document all interactions, check-ins, and progress reports in the online system.
