Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive annual audit plan across corporate and club operations. The role includes managing a professional staff of auditors, coordinating with external auditors, and driving risk-based testing to strengthen internal controls.

You will oversee audit projects, review findings, and present recommendations to senior management while promoting a strong control environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance required; CIA or CISA pursued within 18 months.
• Minimum five years of internal audit experience and leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with risk assessment, internal control analysis, and multi-state regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and execution of the annual audit plan.
• Supervise audit staff and ensure conformance with standards.
• Review work papers and draft findings and reports.
• Present audit results to management and audit committee.
• Coordinate with external auditors and IT management to ensure timely project delivery.
