Velera, a premier payments CUSO and fintech partner, is seeking an Internal Staff Auditor to perform audits across the organization. You will assess risks, test controls, and help ensure regulatory compliance while interacting with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or related field.
• Two years of audit or audit-related experience required.
• Understanding of financial services controls and IT general controls.
• Audit certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA) or actively pursuing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in internal risk assessments under Audit Management.
• Interpret regulations pertaining to IT systems and processes.
• Evaluate IT infrastructure and data flows for key controls.
• Draft process narratives and audit programs for reviews.
• Prepare audit reports and monitor remediation actions.
