Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an Interim Senior Financial Analyst (G&A) to support expense planning and financial decision-making across corporate functions. This technology company role is hybrid in San Francisco, CA, with a fully remote option for qualified candidates who can support PST working hours, for an initial four-month engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders on expense management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience in fast-paced tech or high-volume environments with planning/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations that support operational and strategic decisions.
• Manage monthly and quarterly expense forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range financial projections for assigned functions.
• Analyze financial results and develop metrics and reports that highlight performance trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Improve forecasting, reporting, and planning processes to enhance accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects, scenario analyses, and evolving business priorities.
