Job summary

Vaco is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Analyst to support FP&A, demand planning, and supply chain initiatives in a remote or hybrid capacity. You will partner with Finance and Operations to improve forecasting and identify cost-saving opportunities.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled forecasting tools and building scalable planning processes for a consumer products environment. Remote work with EST hours is offered, with NY metro hybrid also possible.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Analysis, or related finance function.
• Experience supporting FP&A and Demand Planning.
• Background in consumer products, manufacturing, food & beverage, retail, or other inventory-intensive industries.

Responsibilities

• Support FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and demand planning initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance detailed bottom-up financial models and forecasts.
• Validate forecasting assumptions and continuously improve forecast accuracy.
• Partner with Operations, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance to improve cross-functional planning.
• Analyze inventory, demand trends, and operational metrics to support business decisions.
• Identify supply chain efficiencies and cost savings opportunities through financial analysis.
• Standardize reporting processes across multiple manufacturing and supply chain partners.
• Leverage AI tools (including Claude) to automate forecasting and reporting processes while identifying automation opportunities.
• Drive continuous process improvements that support scalability and future growth.
