Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an Interim Senior Financial Analyst (G&A) to support expense planning and financial decision-making across corporate functions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical experience.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders on expense management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience in fast-paced tech or high-volume environments with planning/reporting tools.

Our client, a technology company, is seeking an Interim Senior Financial Analyst to support expense planning and financial decision-making across several corporate functions.

This role is hybrid in San Francisco, CA, with a fully remote option available for qualified candidates who can support PST working hours.This role has an initial duration of approximately four months, with potential for extension or conversion.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations that support operational and strategic decisions
• Manage monthly and quarterly expense forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range financial projections for assigned functions
• Analyze financial results and develop metrics and reports that highlight performance trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities
• Translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders
• Improve forecasting, reporting, and planning processes to enhance accuracy, scalability, and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects, scenario analyses, and evolving business priorities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role
• Prior experience partnering with senior business leaders on expense management, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to translate complex datasets and assumptions into actionable insights
• Experience in a fast-paced technology or similarly high-volume environment, with proficiency in financial planning and reporting tools
