Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

Our client, a publicly traded and rapidly growing diagnostics company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic financial planning and reporting.

Location

This position is hybrid in South San Francisco, CA, with in‑office requirements three days per week.

Job Description

The company operates in a high‑growth environment with expanding global operations and is building scalable FP&A processes to support increasing business complexity.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support performance reviews and strategic decision‑making.
• Lead the reporting of financial and operational metrics, including variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Build and maintain integrated financial models across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Prepare management reporting materials for monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles.
• Support quarterly reporting needs, including analysis of capital expenditures, working capital, cash flow, and return metrics.
• Contribute to budgeting processes and assist with month‑end and quarter‑end financial reviews.
• Improve planning tools and automate analytical workflows using advanced Excel and business intelligence solutions.
• Participate in strategic initiatives such as market evaluations, acquisition integration, and cost‑benefit analyses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or financial analysis.
• Strong Excel modeling skills and experience with ERP or planning systems.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their interdependencies.
