Job summary

Cox Consulting Network is seeking an experienced Interim Controller for a remote, 6+ month engagement to lead a legal entity rationalization initiative. The role requires strong leadership in accounting, intercompany processes, and consolidation, with independent, results-oriented execution.

You will partner with external advisors on transfer pricing and tax-related initiatives, manage complex journal entries, and drive month-end close improvements while coordinating with multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Controller or senior accounting leadership experience.
• Strong background in intercompany accounting, consolidations, and month-end close.
• Experience with GL clean-up, retained earnings adjustments, and complex journal entries.
• Ability to partner with external advisors on transfer pricing and tax-related initiatives (no tax preparation required).
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

This is a remote position. Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to lead a critical legal entity rationalization initiative. This is a full-time, 6+ month consulting engagement that is fully remote .

Requirements

• Controller or senior accounting leadership experience
• Strong background in intercompany accounting, consolidations, and month-end close

• Ability to partner with external advisors on transfer pricing and tax-related initiatives (no tax preparation required)

Preferred Requirements

• Sage Intacct experience
• Experience supporting transfer pricing initiatives and coordinating with external tax advisors
• CPA preferred
• Experience standardizing accounting processes across multiple legal entities
