Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an Interim Collections Clerk to join our accounting team. This fully remote role is preferred for candidates in the San Antonio area.

You will manage collections on outstanding accounts, communicate with attorneys and carriers, and help improve processes in a professional services environment. The role requires 2+ years of collections experience, strong communication, solid organization, and basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection efforts on outstanding accounts.
• Communicate with attorneys and insurance carriers regarding payment status.
• Track, document, and follow up on collection activities.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial information.
• Partner with billing, accounts payable, and accounting team members to resolve issues.
• Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
