Job summary

SkyePoint Decisions is seeking an Integration/QA Engineer to support a federal customer in a remote role. You will design and implement comprehensive testing across APIs, data exchanges, security controls, and automation workflows, while aligning with CI/CD processes and release-readiness reviews.

The role requires 8+ years in integration/QA, a US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust; a Secret clearance is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant integration, software test, QA, or systems engineering experience.
• Experience designing and automating API, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing in enterprise software environments.
• Knowledge of defect management, requirements traceability, CI/CD integration, and release-readiness activities.
• Ability to diagnose cross-component failures spanning applications, APIs, data, platforms, and security tooling.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust; Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integration, system, regression, end-to-end, API, and workflow test strategies for automation capabilities.
• Create automated test suites, test data, mocks/stubs, acceptance criteria, quality gates, and repeatable validation procedures.
• Validate interfaces, data exchanges, security controls, error handling, logging, workflow paths, and deployment behavior across integrated components.
• Trace requirements and defects to test evidence; document results and support prioritization and resolution of issues.
• Integrate automated tests into customer’s existing CI/CD pipeline and support release-readiness reviews.
• Coordinate with developers, platform, security, data, ATO automation, and Government stakeholders during integration and validation activities.
• Maintain test plans, test cases, results, defect records, runbooks, and quality documentation consistent with customer Launch Pad and CMMI processes.
