Rize Federal Credit Union is seeking an Integration Engineer to design, build, and operate integrations across core, ancillary, and SaaS systems in a regulated financial setting. You will implement API wrappers, authentication, and IAM controls while coordinating with security and compliance teams.

Based in Irwindale, CA with flexible 100% remote work, the role reports to the Director of Business Technology and emphasizes disciplined, testable automation, monitoring, and governance to keep data

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience building and operating production software, integrations, or automation, with strong hands-on Python.
• Experience integrating systems through REST APIs, including OAuth 2.0/JWT/API keys, error handling, retries, idempotency, and rate limiting.
• Experience deploying and supporting workloads in AWS.
• Experience with version control, peer code review, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Working knowledge of SQL, AWS services for integration workloads, and containerization.
• Security-first mindset with least privilege and untrusted input.
• Ability to explain automation capabilities to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain integrations using iPaaS, REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and AWS services.
• Build and maintain API wrappers and connectors with documentation.
• Choose integration approaches and document rationale.
• Define access controls and IAM permissions for integrations.
• Treat external data as untrusted input and enforce controls.
• Build automated test suites and track metrics.
• Instrument integrations with logging, monitoring, and runbooks.
