Job summary

Softworld, a Kelly Company, is seeking a contract automation developer to build and maintain learner-data automations and course-management workflows. The role supports Canvas LMS configurations, Airtable bases, and API integrations, with strong emphasis on reliable error handling and documentation.

The candidate will work remotely from the US, with flexible scheduling and options for 3 months at 40 hours/week or 6 months part-time, and may operate as a W2 or C2C contractor without a third party.

Qualifications

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks in production.
• Production experience building solutions with Airtable.
• Ability to write, troubleshoot, and maintain production-quality code.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build automations to support learner data, course administration, enrollments, attendance tracking, and workflows.
• Configure Canvas courses, sections, enrollments, and grade passback.
• Develop and maintain Airtable bases, automations, and data structures
• Integrate REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks to support scalable business processes
• Monitor integrations, troubleshoot issues, and implement error handling
• Document integrations, workflows, and technical processes
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver automation solutions
