Berkley Southeast Insurance Group (BSIG) seeks a Senior Claims Specialist to handle commercial general liability claims from review to resolution. Responsibilities span coverage analysis, investigation, reserving and settlements, with emphasis on superior customer service and expense control.

The role involves handling a range of claims from fast-track to litigated, across multiple states, with remote options for highly qualified candidates and a base salary in the six figures plus bonus

Qualifications

• 5+ years of casualty claim experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of tort and contract law; auditing/reviewing casualty claim files.
• Independent adjuster licenses for AL, GA, MS, NC, SC & TN or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Review losses, analyze coverage, investigate, reserve and resolve non-litigated claims.
• Manage bodily injury, auto physical damage and total loss claims; coordinate appraisals and subrogation.
• Issue timely reserves and negotiate settlements within authority.
• Prepare complex letters and maintain accurate claim files per procedures.
• Support customer service for insureds, agents and internal/external customers.

BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience
