About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Remote Insurance Policy Specialist to join their expanding team. This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere, while focusing on developing, reviewing, and refining insurance policy wording and documentation. The specialist will ensure that all policies are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements, clear, concise, and accurately reflect the intended coverage for policyholders. This role requires a deep understanding of various insurance lines, exceptional attention to detail, and strong legal/regulatory comprehension. You will be a key contributor to maintaining the integrity and clarity of our client's product offerings, ensuring customer understanding and trust. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and revise insurance policy wordings, endorsements, and related documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance policy drafting, review, or analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance principles, contract law, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FAIS, FICA).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of legal and insurance terminology.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Proficiency in using policy management systems and standard office software.
• Ability to research and interpret complex legal and regulatory documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Professional certifications in insurance (e.g., CIP, FLMI) are a plus.
