Ovation Healthcare is seeking a Follow Up Specialist to resolve unpaid or denied claims across multiple payers. You will handle electronic and paper denials, route issues to appropriate departments, and monitor aging AR to drive timely payments.

This role emphasizes meticulous billing, problem solving, and strong communication. The position is 100% remote, requiring reliable home office setup, with expected 1–2 years of AR follow-up experience and familiarity with CMS 1500 billing and EMR

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ AR Follow-Up experience.
• Knowledge of CMS 1500 Billing and multiple Clearinghouses.
• Experience with Billing Systems and EMR platforms.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Electronic denials: Correct/Resubmit via clearinghouse and billing systems.
• Denials: Review, route, and research in payer portals.
• Aging AR over 60: Follow up with carriers by phone/portal/email.
• Process appeals on denied claims and track results.
