LendingTree is seeking a deputy editor focused on insurance to join our SEO editorial team. This role collaborates with editors and writers to ensure accurate, clear insurance content and to advance our content library.

You will oversee workflows, edit and publish, and may write content yourself. The position offers remote work options and requires strong writing, SEO, and insurance expertise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in personal finance or insurance content editing.
• Experience with or knowledge of home/auto/health insurance.
• Strong organizational skills for growing library.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Ability to coach writers and give feedback.
• Excellent writing and grammar.
• Independent and collaborative work style.

Responsibilities

• Assign, edit, and publish content across multiple insurance products.
• Serve as subject-matter expert in insurance.
• Improve content quality and library across the insurance SEO library.
• Oversee editorial workflows to keep content on schedule.
• Identify content gaps as the library scales.
• Speak externally to media about insurance content.
• Enhance search performance for the vertical.
• Ensure editorial and compliance standards are met.
• Coach writers with constructive feedback.
• Write copy as needed.
