LendingTree is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Insurance technology team in a hybrid in-office role, with Denver or Seattle locations. The role focuses on building and evolving web applications across back-end and front-end stacks, integrating with third-party services, and delivering reliable software in C#/.NET and modern web tech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and supporting web applications.
• Experience with C#/.NET/ASP.NET and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases; NoSQL exposure beneficial.
• Experience building and integrating with APIs and third-party services.
• Strong understanding of SOLID, patterns, testing, and code reviews.
• Experience in Agile development delivering to defined requirements.
• Ability to translate complex business logic and communicate with technical/non-technical partners.
• Leadership by contributing to design decisions and mentoring engineers.
• Experience leveraging AI to design workflows and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance scalable web applications supporting LendingTree's Insurance business.
• Own and support existing applications through troubleshooting, upgrades, and performance improvements.
• Break down complex problems and design robust, maintainable solutions.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions and demonstrate features against outcomes.
• Contribute to engineering practices through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and business partners on multi-person initiatives.
