We Are Legal Revolution is seeking a midlevel Insurance Defense Litigation Associate to handle sophisticated general liability matters in a fully remote role based in Chicago. This position offers the opportunity to work on aviation-related disputes depending on experience and interest.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience, can independently manage core tasks, and holds a JD from an accredited law school.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience including premises and product liability.
• Ability to manage a case with minimal supervision.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance defense matters including premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, and related general liability claims.
• Handle day-to-day case development including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation as needed.
• Work directly with clients and internal stakeholders to develop strategy, evaluate exposure, and drive matters toward resolution.
