The role involves managing complex insurance defense matters across bodily injury, premises liability, and general liability claims, with a remote, national platform and opportunities to collaborate with clients, carriers, and experts.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in one of the listed states (AZ, CA, NJ, NY or TX) in good standing.
• 5+ years of substantive experience in insurance defense litigation and personal injury claims.
• Proven success defending personal injury and wrongful death matters through trial and resolution.
• Thorough understanding of insurer billing guidelines and e-billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex insurance defense litigation from inception through resolution.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies for efficient client outcomes.
• Analyze claims, evaluate liability and damages exposure, and advise clients and insurers.
• Draft and argue motions, oversee discovery, and manage case development.
• Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
