Job summary

National Insurance Defense Firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its team. The role is remote and requires CT admission with 2+ years of insurance defense experience.

You will handle caseloads in medmal, products liability, and premises liability, draft pleadings and briefs, conduct discovery, and support defense strategies from initial evaluation through resolution. A JD from an accredited law school is required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in CT.
• 2+ years of insurance defense experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases from evaluation to resolution.
• Conduct thorough legal and factual research and develop defense strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
• Handle written discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses.
