This fully remote role requires NJ bar license and 3+ years of experience in insurance defense, including 1+ year in insurance coverage. Candidates must reside in New Jersey or New York City with local court access. Competitive compensation between $130,000 and $160,000 per year.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active New Jersey Bar license in good standing.
• 1+ year of insurance defense experience.
• 1+ year of insurance coverage experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with litigation, discovery, motions, depositions, and case management.

Responsibilities

• Handle insurance defense and coverage matters through all stages of litigation and dispute resolution.
• Provide legal analysis and strategic guidance on insurance-related claims and disputes.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and coverage analyses.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law.
• Manage discovery, including written discovery and depositions.
