Job summary

Kiernan Trebach LLP in Hartford, CT (Remote) seeks an Attorney with 2–10+ years of Insurance Defense experience to join our civil litigation defense team. The role involves defending a variety of matters from inception through settlement or trial.

The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctorate, be admitted to the Connecticut Bar, and have demonstrated trial experience and the ability to work independently. Remote/Hybrid options available depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Bar License is required.
• Experience with Insurance Defense.
• Experience writing motions and legal memoranda, and summarizing depositions is preferred.
• Ability to work independently from case inception to settlement/trial is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend a variety of Insurance Defense matters, including General Liability, Personal Injury, Product Liability, and Professional Liability.
• Manage cases through investigation, discovery, and litigation until resolution.
