Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking an Insurance Analyst III to analyze complex data from multiple sources, influence next steps, and drive actionable insights in a remote-capable role. You will work on recurring and ad hoc projects, applying analytical methods to solve unstructured problems.

The role requires a strong foundation in statistics, economics or related fields, with at least 4 years of experience, and advanced proficiency in SAS/SQL. A CPCU or advanced degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4 years of directly related experience.
• Superior research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills.
• Adaptability and multi-tasking with strong time management.
• Ability to make effective formal presentations
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to coach and mentor co-workers and give feedback as required.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex analysis of data for assigned client group and how it relates to overall objectives.
• Research includes enlisting collaboration of different departments outside IPM/IPO and gaining support on findings and action plan.
• Applies knowledge to recommend procedure development and analysis for securing desired solution.
• Prepares findings and recommendations for clients; may co-present to senior management.
• Develops and may coach on reporting processes for information to clients.
