Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Insurance Coverage Attorney for Management and Professional Liability in New York, NY. This midlevel role emphasizes coverage analysis, monitoring counsel responsibilities, and reporting for nationwide insurance programs.

You will interpret D&O, EPL, LPL, E&O and other policies, draft coverage opinions and reservations of rights, and coordinate with defense counsel and underwriters. Hybrid or remote options may be considered based on experience and team needs.

Qualifications

• Active New York bar admission.
• 3–5 years of policy interpretation and coverage experience.
• Experience drafting coverage opinions and coverage correspondence.
• Excellent research, writing, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• 2+ years serving Lloyd’s of London program accounts or as coverage and monitoring counsel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret D&O, EPL, LPL, E&O, and other insurance policies.
• Draft coverage opinions, reservations of rights, and DISCLAIMERS.
• Monitor claims and litigation across the United States.
• Retain and communicate with defense counsel for insureds.
• Prepare bordereaux and client-specific reports and communicate with underwriters and program producers.
