Responsibilities

• Oversee insurance verification and authorization operations from initial verification through final resolution.
• Supervise, train, and support insurance authorization specialists; monitor workload and performance.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to obtain medical necessity information for authorizations.
• Maintain familiarity with payer-specific authorization requirements and submission platforms.
• Identify barriers to authorization and ensure timely submissions to maximize reimbursement.
