Job summary

TDIC Insurance Solutions, part of the California Dental Association family, seeks an Insurance Advisor I to support CDA members with Property & Casualty and Life & Health coverage. The role combines client service, policy knowledge and cross-functional collaboration to recommend solutions and manage inquiries.

This remote-first position offers a bonus plan, a robust benefits package, and occasional travel for meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, active P&C and Life & Health licenses, ability to read, analyze and interpret policies.
• Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Two years of experience in insurance sales and/or insurance account management.

Responsibilities

• Responds to telephone calls and written requests regarding coverage questions, premiums, eligibility, rates, account status, claims, billing, policy changes and benefits.
• Maintains detailed records of insurance transactions in company database.
• Sells all product lines and educates members on coverage options.
• Acts as product expert for Property & Casualty and Life & Health; educates and supports members to cover practice risks.
• Consults with members to identify risk and exposure and recommends solutions.
• Gathers underwriting information and liaises with other departments and carriers to process submissions.
• Resolves customer problems and disputes in a timely manner.
• Maintains relationships with CDA members and insurance clients; conducts follow up and participates in industry events.
