Job summary

TDIC Insurance Solutions, a part of the California Dental Association family, seeks an Insurance Advisor I to support members with coverage questions, premiums, and policy changes. This remote-first role involves occasional travel and in-office meetings, with a focus on selling all product lines and educating members on risk management.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in insurance sales/account management, strong sales skills, and proficient MS Office abilities.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in insurance sales and/or insurance account management.
• Demonstrated sales experience.
• Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Responds to telephone calls and written requests regarding coverage questions, premiums, eligibility, rates, account status, claims, billing, policy changes and benefits.
• Maintains detailed records of insurance transactions in the company database.
• Sells all product lines and acts as product expert for P&C and Life & Health.
• Educates, plans and supports members to cover all practice-related insurance risks.
• Consults with members to identify risk and exposure and recommends solutions to manage risk.
