Job summary

Team Carney is seeking an experienced Instructional Systems Designer to support the FDIC Corporate University Course Maintenance Program. The role focuses on maintaining and modernizing a catalog of training materials across ILT, VILT, and WBT formats, ensuring alignment with design standards and Section 508 accessibility.

You will collaborate with FDIC CU personnel, SMEs, and technical monitors to update assets, develop WBT, scripts, captions, and multimedia, and ensure deliverables pass QA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of professional field instructional design experience.
• Experience with accessibility testing and Section 508 standards helpful.
• Proven ability to convert legacy course materials into modern formats.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with FDIC CU personnel, PMs, and SMEs to design, update, and maintain courseware.
• Update materials across ILT, VILT, WBT, videos, and job aids.
• Review Course Change Sheets and reflect regulatory and procedural changes.
• Develop asynchronous WBT using approved templates and authoring tools (e.g., Lectora).
• Create and caption instructional multimedia using Camtasia (SRT/VTT).
• Produce and update electronic performance support tools and job aids in MS Word and PDF.
