Job summary
The Culinary Institute of America in the United States is seeking an Instructional Design Generalist to support LMS platforms and course quality across SGPS. This role focuses on building and maintaining online courses in Moodle and Brightspace, troubleshooting access, and guiding faculty through pre-launch checks.
You will apply foundational instructional design principles, ensure accessibility standards, and help develop reusable templates and rubrics to support scalable online learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–4 years of LMS administration, building, or support.
- Moodle and/or Brightspace experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Build, update, and maintain SGPS course content in Moodle, Brightspace, and related platforms.
- Create and revise course shells, modules, units, activities, quizzes, pages, and resources.
- Upload, format, organize, and test instructional materials and rubrics.
- Support course copy, refresh, and launch preparation across SGPS programs.
- Assist with user access, course visibility, release conditions, and basic LMS config.
