Job summary

AIR is seeking an Instructional Design Specialist to create engaging learning resources and multimedia products that support workforce development and career pathways within the United States. This role emphasizes AI-enabled tools, accessibility, and iterative improvement of learning experiences.

You'll collaborate with internal and external partners, test new approaches, and ensure learning solutions meet learner needs and project goals. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design or related field; master's preferred.
• 2+ years creating digital learning resources and materials for adults.
• Experience with Articulate 360, Canva, Adobe Suite, Camtasia or similar.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and adult learning theory.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and curate engaging learning resources and performance tools.
• Create multimedia assets using a range of authoring and video tools.
• Maintain and update existing materials for accuracy and accessibility.
• Support AI-enhanced learning solutions and workflows.
• Research learning needs and test emerging approaches and tools.
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to refine experiences.
• Apply evidence-based design principles and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Coordinate project activities and track progress and impact.
