Job summary

The Bronx is seeking an Instructional Designer to collaborate with faculty and technical teams to design, develop, and enhance online and hybrid courses. You will ensure quality, accessibility, and alignment with accreditation standards while helping faculty leverage educational technology and emerging AI tools to improve student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities include designing and developing courses in Moodle and D2L, applying accessibility standards, and guiding faculty through AI-enabled

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or related field.
3+ years of instructional design experience within higher education.
Experience designing online, hybrid, and/or HyFlex courses.
Strong Moodle and D2L experience.

Responsibilities

Design and develop online, hybrid, and HyFlex courses using instructional design best practices.
Partner with faculty and subject matter experts to align learning outcomes, assessments, activities, and instructional content.
Build, maintain, and improve courses within Moodle and D2L learning management systems.
Apply accessibility standards and online course quality frameworks across all projects.
Support faculty with course redesign initiatives, educational technology adoption, and AI-enabled teaching practices.
